Mike joined Branch 291 in 2024-2025 as the second guitarist. and currently consists of six members. It's a band that primarily covers Japanese music, including ACG and City Pop. They have dedicated channels on Bilibili and Instagram, where they post high-quality cover videos, and occasionally perform at local events such as anime conventions.
Active from 2022 to 2025, 4x16 was a six-member band primarily dedicated to covering indie rock. Most of its members were students from the University of British Columbia (UBC). During its active period, the band performed in several major music events, including three large-scale shows organized by FCMS. Mike performed as the bassist in the band.
